For Creative Women In Business
One thing that I have learned over the last few years – is determination and perseverance are a huge part of being an entrepreneur.
You often see memes or infographics of the daily mindset or emotional rollercoaster that an entrepreneur can go through – but the reality is, mental health and well-being are extremely important.
When I am asked about how to grow and make money, my first thought is that the money factor should not be the leading focus.
If you started a business solely to make money and not make an impact or grow personally and professionally, the money will not come as easily as you’d like.
Being hungry for growth and being hungry for money are two separate things.
An entrepreneur’s hunger will make him/her, be intentional about their efforts and intellectual property.
An entrepreneur’s hunger will keep him/her focused on reaching the mark. Then they will want to exceed that mark.
So – as you are defining your business, strategies, client experience, products, services, and programs – be mindful of your ultimate goal and what is fueling your motivations.
Every entrepreneur is different. Each of us possesses a different skillset and qualities, but in working with so many successful entrepreneurs, here are the 4 traits that I think every successful entrepreneur has in common! And if you don’t have some of the qualities listed below, you should work on developing them (not getting disappointed in yourself):
Entrepreneurs, like all people, make mistakes! But they don’t give up on their defeats! They take every single failure as a learning opportunity and just move on.
They are determined to make their endeavors successful, so they don’t stop until they do it!
Just think about Thomas Edison. He failed 10 000 times before he succeeded at inventing the light bulb! 10 000! And he never accepted these failed attempts as a failure but as a learning opportunity and never stopped until he succeeded!
Entrepreneurs have confidence in their abilities. They don’t question their self-worth! And even if they are unsure how a certain problem can be solved, they are confident that they can figure it out!
Passion is among the most important traits of a successful entrepreneur. Because successful entrepreneurs generally love their work and are always willing to work the extra hours because this business doesn’t feel like work but a joy. They truly want to improve their business and customer experience and are always looking to improve their business!
Creativity is like a muscle. The more you train it, the stronger it gets. Creativity is the key to establishing new angles, providing solutions to existing problems, and empowers entrepreneurs to craft a bold vision to pursue passionately!
Those are my top 4 traits that every entrepreneur must have to attain success. Now I have a question for you:
What qualities do you think each entrepreneur should possess in order to be successful?
